Global Shabbaton Gaining Momentum With Over 70 Locations and Counting

With just three weeks to go, over 70 Shabbatons have been mapped in over 12 countries and 25 states, uniting hundreds of Yaldei Hashluchim for a “Shabbos Tzuzamen.” One Shabbaton celebrated in many locations.

A first of its kind, MyShliach is helping Shluchim arrange local Shabbatons for their children. Each area’s Shabbaton is hosted by a local Shliach’s family, with nearby Yaldei Hashluchim joining and parents chipping in with the preparations. 

Eager requests have poured in from volunteers willing to host their local Shabbaton. “Our kids were so excited to host! They are really looking forward,” says Devorah Bush, hosting Shlucha of the Shabbaton in Petaluma, California. They are expecting 30 boys from across Northern California for Shabbos, and all the participating families are teaming up by cooking and sending over a dish for the meal.

Excited to be part of this global project, Yaldei Hashluchim are looking forward to a packed Shabbos to recharge with fellow Yaldei Hashluchim who live in their region, grow in their Chassidishkeit and, most importantly, have a blast with their friends. Whether a Shabbaton with two or twenty children, every one of the Yaldei Hashluchim can be a part of the Shabbos Tzuzamen experience! 

“Being with friends for Shabbos is such an amazing experience which my kids don’t often get to have,” says Chaya Susman, Shlucha of Prospect, Kentucky. The Shluchim around them live a few hours drive away and plan to make the trip to be part of this occasion. 

MyShliach is delivering a fun-packed Shabbaton-in-a-Box containing a complete program, games, activities, and general support. For Shabbatons with more than ten participants, MyShliach offers the possibility of sending a staff member to help run the Shabbaton. On Motzei Shabbos, there will be a smashing global Melaveh Malka, uniting all the Shabbos Tzuzamens worldwide.
