Jewish Pride in Times Square

The chorus of “I’m a Jew and I’m and proud” reverberated within Times Square Saturday night as over 5,000 people celebrated their Jewish Identity. The iconic highlight of the CTeen International Shabbaton saw the CTeeners, their rabbis, plus local friends and supporters join together to pray, dance and sing at the crossroads of the world. A major milestone was the printing of a new Times Square edition of the Tanya led by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch and Chairman of CTeen. Rabbi Kotlarsky encouraged the teens to be beacons of light in their local communities worldwide, and together transform the world into a place of goodness and kindness.
